This program combines the AOW (Advanced Open Water) and DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle) courses together.  While taking the AOW course, you can also get the DPV specialty diver rating by just learning some extra knowledge and an extra DPV training dive with our DPV instructor.  As a DPV diver, you will be qualified to use and rent a DPV.  This will give yourself an opportunity to travel a bigger dive site with faster speed underwater and save more air .  By joining this program, you will save some course fee compare with taking these courses separately.  Also, you will be able to move faster toward to your MSD (Master Scuba Diver) certification – highest non-professional rating in recreational scuba diving.

Who should take this program?

PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers who are at least 12 years old are ready to step up and enroll in an Advanced Open Water Diver course. Young divers may only participate in certain Adventures Dives – feel free to check with us.

If you’re already an Adventure Diver, you only need to complete two more Adventure Dives to earn the Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

What will you learn?

You’ll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a list of Adventure Dives. In this specially designed program, there are three required dives – Deep, Underwater Navigation, and DPV.  Then, you will choose the other two adventure dives to make a total of five adventure dives for AOW.

While you are finishing the AOW, you will continue the DPV specialty diver knowledge review 2 and DPV dive 2 in order to complete the DPV specialty diver course.
